Thai, international airlines add fuel surcharges.

Aug. 12--The price of domestic and international air travel is set to rise, with some carriers already imposing fuel surcharges on tickets in response to soaring jet fuel costs.

While Singapore Airlines and Cathay Pacific have already hiked fares on flights into and out of Thailand, most of the other airlines are likely to follow suit as the fuel price component becomes prohibitive under the old fare structure.
