Vic: Tipstar sinks further into financial difficulty
MELBOURNE, Feb 27 AAP - Victoria's government-backed Tipstar footy tipping competitionhas sunk further into financial difficulty, posting a loss of more than $4 million lastfinancial year.
This was nearly $1 million worse than the previous year, despite revenue nearly doubling.
The annual report of Footy Consortium Pty Ltd, the company running the competition,was tabled in parliament today.
